NC NAACP and Family of Lennon Lacy to Hold Community Mass Meeting to Discuss Updates in the FBI Investigation of the 17-Year-Old's Hanging Death in late August 2014 at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015
BLADENBORO, NC: The NC NAACP and family of Lennon Lacy will hold a community mass meeting on Wednesday to discuss updates in the FBI investigation of the teen's death and what the public can do to assist the investigation. Lacy, a 17-year-old high school student and football player, was found hanging from a wooden swing set in the middle of a trailer park in Bladenboro in late August 2014. Following requests made by the family and NC NAACP, the FBI took the case for review in December.
The community mass meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25th at First Baptist Church in Bladenboro.
