Saving Pungo Hospital

North Carolina NAACP state officials including President William J. Barber II and attorney Al McSurely joined with local NAACP branch leaders, representatives of the town of Belhaven, NC and Vidant Health Sytems of Greenville, NC in signing an agreement to keep the Vidant Pungo hospital open for three months while a more permanent solution is sought.
