This story is not new. Poor communities, rural communities, and communities of color are once again the targets for landfills being built across the state to hold Duke Energy's coal ash. But they are coming together to say enough is enough. These communities will no longer bear the burden of corporate irresponsibility.
Stand with communities from Anson County, Wayne County, Rockingham County, Lee County, and Chatham County for a Moral Monday news conference on Monday, April 20th.
